The Azcue VRX ATEX Close Coupled Centrifugal Pump is the horizontal version of the VRX vertical immersion pump. Supplied with a vortex impeller, the pump creates a vacuum so that large solids can pass through without interfering with the pump’s internals. This single stage centrifugal pump is therefore ideal for applications involving waste water, slurries and viscous, contaminated liquids.

The Azcue VRX horizontal centrifugal pump benefits from a back pull out design, meaning that the motor can be removed without disconnecting the pump from the pipework, which is time saving and less complex when maintenance is required. Whilst being closed coupled, this vortex impeller centrifugal pump has a lantern bracket, which means that whilst being space saving in design, there is still space between the pump and motor to prevent fluid falling into the motor should the seal wear. The VRX is also available in long coupled upon request.

These Azcue pumps have a separate shaft in the pump head and motor meaning that if one shaft goes, there is no need to replace it all; a benefit over other pumps on the market that have one continuous shaft from head to motor.

The Azcue CA ATEX Close Coupled Centrifugal Self Priming Pump is a competitively priced, compact single stage centrifugal pump with good flow and pressure capabilities. Able to run dry for 30 minutes once initially primed, the CA self priming pump is ideal for the transfer of clean fluids such as water and light fuels over long suction distances, where the tank is situated below the pump and for giving some leeway before the pump needs to be turned offATEX .

With the option of a semi-open impeller, the Azcue CA horizontal centrifugal pump is able to handle up to 10mm of soft solids, making it compatible with water with some degree of contaminants. This series of centrifugal water pump benefit from a back pull out design, meaning that the motor can be removed without disconnecting the pump from the pipework, which is time saving and less complex when maintenance is required.

Whilst being closed coupled, the CA self priming centrifugal pump has a lantern bracket, which means that whilst being space saving in design, there is still some separation the pump and motor so should the seal fail fluid will not enter the motor. It can also be supplied as a bare shaft pump head for fitting to a motor and making it long coupled. This version has additional bearings in the pump head to share the strain of operation, therefore enhancing the robustness of the pump for continuous use.

The Azcue MN ATEX Close Coupled Centrifugal Pump is similar in design to the CP, but a larger, more robust horizontal centrifugal pump with larger flow and pressure capabilities and that can handle higher temperature fluids. Based on DIN 24255, the Azcue MN is dimensionally the same as other pumps allowing it to easily replace existing single stage centrifugal pumps from other manufacturers in applications involving relatively clean fluids such as water and low viscosity fuels.

The Azcue MN horizontal centrifugal pump benefits from a back pull out design, allowing the motor to be removed without disconnecting the pump from the pipework, saving time during maintenance. Whilst being closed coupled, this centrifugal water pump has a lantern bracket, which means that whilst being of more compact construction, there is still space between the pump and motor so should the seal fail fluid will not enter the motor. Thanks to the addition of wear rings, there is small clearance between the impeller and pump casing preventing wear to these parts. Wearing rings are designed to be changed every now and then to prevent the more costly replacement of the impeller or casing.

The Azcue AN ATEX Horizontal Centrifugal Pump is the long coupled version of the MN; a large, heavy duty pump with good flow and pressure capabilities. Being long coupled, this model of single stage centrifugal pump is easier to maintain as you can get to the pump head without removing the motor first, and is also more durable for continuous use as it has additional bearings in the pump head to share the strain of operation.

Based on DIN 24255, the Azcue AN is manufactured to be the same dimensionally as other pumps enabling the simple replacement of existing horizontal centrifugal pumps from other manufacturers in installations concerning relatively clean fluids such as water and low viscosity fuels. As it is available with a double mechanical seal cooling system, fluids are able to be handled up to 190°C which also sees the AN suitable as a thermal oil pump.

The Azcue BOB ATEX Long Coupled Centrifugal Pump is a much larger pump with greater flow and pressure capabilities than the other horizontal centrifugal pump models. Designed for installations concerning relatively clean fluids such as water and low viscosity fuels, its performance makes it suitable for larger volume water transfer applications, the cooling of really large equipment and firefighting where masses of flow is required.

The Azcue LD ATEX is a split casing pump, which is essentially a single stage centrifugal pump with a double suction impeller supported between bearings, splitting the pump case into two separate chambers. This double suction centrifugal design means that the LD is capable of much higher flow rates at lower pressures than alternative vertical centrifugal pumps, making them suitable for high volume transfer of thin, clean fluids like water.

The VA is the same as the VB but with bottom suction rather than line, giving you the option depending upon the installation at hand. The Azcue BT-MB ATEX Close Coupled Triple Screw Pump is the smallest screw pump in the Azcue range; a competitively priced model in the market for its pressure capabilities. As a positive displacement pump, screw pumps are able to handle lubricating fluids under fluctuating flow rates, pressures and viscosities without losing efficiency. The Azcue BT-MB is ideal for the general transfer of fuels and lubrication oils under moderate performance conditions, the BT-HM is ideal for more demanding and hazardous applications thanks to its ATEX motor. 

Thanks to its close coupled design, this horizontal self priming screw pump is compact in size for installations with limited space and has a top mounted suction and discharge. These Aczue pumps come complete with an integrated manually adjustable pressure relief valve.

The nature of the screw pump design means it can be used where suction capabilities are difficult such as pumping over long distances or where the pump is located above the fluid.

The Azcue VM & VR VP/EP Self Priming Vertical Inline Pumps are an ATEX rated version of the VM & VR close coupled vertical centrifugal pumps. They come complete with a vacuum or electric priming pump and are suitable for applications difficult suction conditions. For longer distances, a vacuum priming pump is recommended due to its ability to dry run for short periods of time.

The VM & VR vertical inline centrifugal pumps are an alternative to the LN, but are more heavy duty and bigger, with higher flow and pressure capabilities. Most suited to applications involving relatively clean liquids such as water and thin fuels, they are also ideal for installations where space saving is important. Unlike the VM, the VR single stage centrifugal pump has an extra ball bearing between the pump and motor which helps share the strain of operation, resulting in it being a more robust option than the other within critical applications.

The Azcue VM/VR vertical self priming centrifugal pumps benefits from a back pull out design whereby the motor is able to be removed from the pump, without having to completely disconnect it from its installation – a time saving advantage during maintenance. Strictly speaking this pump is close coupled, but these centrifugal water pumps have a lantern bracket which creates space between the pump and motor, whilst still being compact. So if the seal ever wears, fluid won’t fall into the motor.

These Azcue ATEX vertical inline pumps have one shaft in the pump head and another in the motor, so that if an issue was to ever occur in one shaft, there is no need to replace it all – a benefit which alternative pumps on the market don’t possess, as they have a continuous shaft from head to motor. Also included are wear rings, generating a small clearance between the impeller and pump casing, resulting in less wear to parts. Wearing rings only need to be replaced periodically, stopping the more costly replacement of the impeller or casing.

The Azcue CM VP/EP ATEX Self Priming Vertical Inline Pump is the CM close coupled vertical centrifugal pump with incorporated vacuum or electric priming pump, intended for use where suction conditions may be difficult. The vacuum priming pump should be chosen for longer distances, as this version can dry run for short periods of time.

The CM ATEX rated vertical centrifugal pump is larger and more robust than the LN, with greater capabilities for flow and pressure. The Azcue KB Progressive Cavity Pump is a quality and robustly constructed solution designed the transferring of difficult fluids even over long distances thanks to the high pressures they can achieve. Thanks to its low internal velocity of helical rotor pumps, the KB can transfer viscous liquids containing particles and contaminants efficiently such as sewage and slurries, as well as shear sensitive mediums that have a structure can be impacted when high shear is applied.

The KB is a more compact and cost effective progressive cavity pump compared to the KL model, as rather than having a bearing bracket, the motor is close coupled directly to the pump housing. Available in smaller sizes and at lower flows than the KL, it is ideal for less abrasive conditions and smaller volumes of liquid being transferred, whilst still being able to handle solids up to 95m.

In order to ensure reliable operation and a long service life, the KB eccentric screw pump has a fully encapsulated cardan shaft and joint with lifetime lubricated needle roller bearings that prevent wear and mean they don’t need to be regularly maintained. It also benefits from joint connections that have continuous diameters, ensuring there is a constant flow within the suction housing and blockages do not occur.

The Azcue KL Progressive Cavity Pump is a large, robustly constructed solution designed for harsh pumping conditions thanks to their ability to handle difficult fluids even over long distances thanks to the high pressures they can achieve. The low internal velocity design of the eccentric screw pump means that the KL can transfer extremely viscous fluids containing solids effectively such as sewage and slurries, as well as shear sensitive fluids than need to maintain their structure during the pumping process.

With higher flow and higher solids handling capabilities (up to 150mm) than the KB, the KL progressing cavity pump is the ideal option for more heavy duty applications where larger volumes of fluid need to be transferred or the media has particularly large and abrasive contaminants.

Whilst being closed coupled, the Azcue KL helical rotor pump has a bearing bracket which is coupled to the motor via a plug connection which is easy to service and relieves the strain on the shaft and gears, making them suitable for continuous application. This bracket also means that there is still space between the pump and motor so in the case of seals wearing out, water leaked from the pump head would not enter the motor.

Other design benefits of the KL Azcue pump is its fully encapsulated cardan shaft and joint as standard with lifetime lubricated needle roller bearings that are wear and maintenance free. Its joint connections, which have equivalent diameters, ensure a constant flow within the suction housing to prevent blockages in the pump.

The Azcue TKK Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Pump is the largest multistage pump in the Azcue range with the highest performance capabilities in terms of both flow and pressure. Designed with multiple impeller for the high pressure transfer of water and other clean, low viscosity fluids, this model of Azcue pump is ideal for water pressure boosting, circulation and large volume transferring across long distances.

Its long coupled design means that this multistage pump requires simpler and easier maintenance as you can get to the pump head without having to remove the motor first. It is also more durable for heavy duty, continuous operation as it has two separate bearing supports with separate oil chamber s to share the strain. This horizontal centrifugal pump is able to absorb any vibrations caused by operation thanks to its flexible rather than rigid coupling.

A further benefit of the TKK centrifugal water pump is that its suction and discharge connections can be rotated in 90° stages at manufacturing stage to match existing pipework for easy retrofitting. It also benefits from wear rings, which limit the wear caused to the casing and impellers.

Its long coupled construction makes this multistage pump easier to maintain as you can get to the pump head without removing the motor prior. It is also more robust for continuous use as the shaft is supported by two external, oil lubricated bearings to share the strain. Thanks to its flexible coupling, this horizontal centrifugal pump is able to absorb vibrations within the installation.

A further benefit of the TKR centrifugal water pump is that its suction and discharge connections can be rotated in 90° stages at manufacture to suit existing pipework for easy retrofitting. It also benefits from wear rings, which limit the wear caused to the casing and impellers.

Thanks to its spacer coupling, maintenance of this multistage pump is a lot simpler as it does not require the motor to be removed first.. It is also more durable for heavy duty, continuous operation as it has two bearings to share the strain. Supplied with wear rings which are designed to be periodically replaced, the more expensive to maintain casing and impellers are protected against wear.

A further benefit of the VTK vertical centrifugal pump is that its suction and discharge connections can be rotated in 90° stages at manufacture to suit existing pipework. This combined with its space saving, vertical orientation makes it ideal for retrofitting.

The Pentax DP40-60 Electrical Submersible Pump – from Italian company Pentax Industries – is a fluid transfer pump commonly used for emptying pits, wells or cisterns. This sump pump can also be used for gardening and is completely constructed in anti-corrosive material.

Two models of this waste water pump are available from stock; they are the DP40 and DP60. These submersible pumps have flow rates ranging from 5M³H and 7M³H, max pressures of 6M or 8M, and a joint max temperature of 40°C.

The Liverani Special FM Series is a belt drive side channel pump range with magnetic clutch that benefits from a hygienic design. These models of liquid ring pump are frequently used on trucks, tractors and general industry for transfer and offloading applications of clean and low viscosity fluids such as sea water, fuels and food grade liquids as well as fluids with up to 50% gas content.

The Special FM Series provides the same performance features as the Special Series side channel pumps, with with the added feature of the 12 or 24v magnetic clutch to remotely operate the pump from the control board. These are tough, robust and easily serviced liquid ring pumps which will rapidly self-prime and work continuously over a wide range of engine speeds.

The Liverani Special Series is a bareshaft and belt driven side channel pump range and benefit from a hygienic construction. These models of liquid ring pump are commonly used on board trucks and tractors, as well as general industry for a variety of transfer and offloading applications of clean and low viscosity fluids. Popular applications involve sea water, fuels, chemicals, food grade liquids and fluids that have up to 50% entrained gas.

These side channel pumps are tough, robust and easily serviced, which self-priming quickly without need for a non return valve and work continuously over a wide range of engine speeds.

The Liverani SEP Series are close coupled, Stainless Steel AISI 316 side channel pumps, benefitting from a hygienic design. The Liverani INV Series are variable speed, inverter controlled side channel pumps with forced ventilation. These hygienic, stainless steel liquid ring pumps are trolley mounted and fitted with a mounted control panel and variable speed controller. The system doesn’t feature dry run protection and the pumps are close coupled with extra fan cooling on the motors instead of a gear box.

All the models of the INV side channel pumps are available as Three Phase, and are able to be run up to 60Hz offering a larger flow and head range than the standard 50 Hz units.

Optional extras include:

1. Bi-directional radio controller instead of a wired unit which is water proof and can work up to a 100 m distance and is supplied with a charging station.

The Debem MB Series of resin encased centrifugal pumps are chemically resistant pumps specifically designed for acids and alkalis or very dirty liquids. The MB series pump has an open impeller design enabling it to handle liquids with a viscosity up to 500cps, and small suspended solids.

Two versions of the MB centrifugal pump are available; with either a lip seal or bellows (mechanical) seal of which selection is based on the liquid being pumped. The pump casing is of single piece construction and weldless meaning any acid transferred will not attack the welds, which is a common weak area in welded pumps. This horizontal centrifugal pump requires a flooded suction in order to operate.

The Liverani VA Flexible Impeller Pump is a mechanically controlled, low cost variable speed offering. With this option you able to vary the flow capability by means of manually adjusting the output speed on the gear box via a dial. With the VA flexible vane pump series, flow control is not quite as accurate as the INV flexible impeller pump, but offers a decent flow range adjustment. The wheel on the side of the adjuster displays a reference to the rotational speed. 

The flexible impeller pump, or flexible vane pump as it is otherwise known, is part of the positive displacement pump family renowned for its excellent dry self-priming ability. Due to this, it is commonly used when a good suction lift capacity is required within the application. Flexible impeller pumps are suitable for viscous fluids, slurries and liquids containing solids and gas in low pressure applications. Due to their hygienic construction they are also popular as a sanitary pump. 

NOTE: The required speed must be preset before the flexible impeller pump is started and cannot be adjusted during operation.

The Liverani INV Flexible Impeller Pump is an inverter controlled, variable speed drive solution. This is the most efficient and accurate method of variable speed offering as you are able to infinitely vary the flow capability, by means of adjusting the frequency of the electric motor between its minimum and max speeds. 

Flexible impeller pumps, or flexible vane pumps, are part of the positive displacement pump family renowned for its ability in dry self-priming. Therefore, these pumps are commonly used when an application is required to have good suction lift capacity. Flexible impeller pumps are suitable for viscous fluids, slurries and liquids containing solids and gas in low pressure applications. Their sanitary construction means that they are also popular as a hygienic pump.

By using a flexible vane pump with gear box with twin output shafts, double headed options are available to generate either larger flow rates or higher heads. The INV MAXI DOUBLE 2Q effectively doubles the flow of the INV MAXI 80, whereas the INV MAXI DOUBLE 2H effectively doubles the head.

The standard build is supplied with the INV flexible impeller pump mounted on the trolley and supplied with a CE Control Panel with mounted inverter and a remote on a 15 m cable (On / Off / Reverse & Speed Adjustment).

The Liverani bareshaft S/P and hydraulically driven MID flexible impeller pumps are a type of rotary positive displacement pump. Their working principle is similar to that of a centrifugal pump however the impeller vanes are made of a flexible and durable polymer, which deform slightly as they move the liquid. This action enables fragile, shear sensitive fluids including high viscosity mediums containing particles. The SP and MID flexible vane pump models are frequently used on trucks, tractors and boats for a variety of transfer and offloading applications. 

Part of the positive displacement pump family are flexible impeller pumps, otherwise known as flexible vane pumps. This pump type is renowned for its ability in dry self-priming. These pumps are therefore most commonly used within applications that are required to have good suction lift capacity. Flexible impeller pumps are ideal for viscous fluids, slurries and liquids containing solids and gas in low pressure applications. Due to their hygienic construction they are also popular as a sanitary pump.

PTO drives are available for the S/P models and the MID flexible impeller pumps can be supplied with an Orbital Hydraulic Motor (50 CC) or with a coupling suitable for a Hydraulic Motor.

The Liverani RID Series is a range of gear box driven flexible impeller pumps. By using a gear box with twin output shafts, double headed options are available to generate either larger flow rates or higher heads. The RID MAXI DOUBLE 2Q effectively doubles the flow of the RID MAXI 80, whereas the RID MAXI DOUBLE 2H effectively doubles the head.

The Liverani Miniverter Flexible Impeller Pump offers all the advantages of the FEP MINI and MIDEX pumps but with integrated variable speed control. This combined with the SS316 materials of construction and various sealing and impeller material options, enables these flexible vane pumps to be used in a plethora of different applications. 

The positive displacement pump family include flexible impeller pumps, which are also known as flexible vane pumps. These pumps are renowned for their dry self-priming ability and are therefore commonly used for applications where good suction lift capacity is required. Flexible impeller pumps are often used for viscous fluids, slurries and liquids containing solids and gas in low pressure applications. Thanks to their hygienic construction they are also popular as a sanitary pump.

It is possible to adjust the speed range of the Miniverter flexible impeller pump from 285 to 1400 rpm, and to choose the direction of flow using the integrated potentiometer and rocker switch fitted to the terminal box whilst still retaining its standard IP55 protection rating.

Carrying handles and trolleys are available as optional accessories to increase the Miniverter flexible vane pumps’ portability when being used for a variety of site applications.

The Liverani INV BS Series is a range of flexible impeller pumps with inverter controlled variable speed and forced ventilation. These models offer all the flow control features of the INV series of flexible vane pumps but at a lower cost. It achieves this by only offering pump control from the panel; it does not feature dry run protection and the pumps are close coupled with extra fan cooling on the motors instead of a gear box. 

Within the positive displacement pump family are flexible impeller pumps, which are also known as flexible vane pumps. These flexible impeller pumps are known for their capability of dry self-priming and are therefore ideal for applications where good suction lift capacity is needed. These pumps are often used for viscous fluids, slurries and liquids containing solids and gas in low pressure applications. Due to their sanitary construction they are also popular as a hygienic pump.

The INV BS covers only the MINOR 40 & MAJOR 60 flexible impeller pumps. There is a larger flow capacity available from the MINOR 40 due to the ability to operate the pump up to 1400 rpm. However the minimum speed is only 175 rpm for both models as opposed to 50 rpm for their INV counterparts.

The Liverani GR Flexible Impeller Pumps are a range of belt driven models, able to handle a wide variety of fluids. This is a cost effective means of operating the flexible vane pumps at different speeds without the use of an expensive gearbox. Furthermore, when using GR flexible vane pumps on viscous or solids laden fluids the belt drive will protect the motor from overloading by slipping, therefore avoiding potentially lengthy and costly downtimes. 

Flexible impeller pumps are part of the positive displacement pump family and are otherwise known as flexible vane pumps. These pumps are capable of dry self-priming making them a popular choice for applications where good suction lift capacity is needed. These flexible impeller pumps are commonly used for viscous fluids, slurries and liquids containing solids and gas in low pressure applications. Due to their hygienic construction they are also popular as a sanitary pump.

Flexible impeller pumps are similar in operation to a centrifugal model, but thanks to their flexible rubber impellers are able to bend and provide a smooth flow even when handling viscous fluids containing solids.

The Liverani FEP range of close coupled stainless steel flexible impeller pumps is the most popular within the Liverani range due to its compact and versatile design. The operation of these pumps is similar to the centrifugal design, but as the impeller vanes are a flexible polymer they bend as they force the liquid through. This allows delicate fluids to be handled.

Flexible vane pumps are within the positive displacement pump family and are also known as flexible impeller pumps. These pumps are renowned for their dry self-priming capability, making them ideal for applications where good suction lift capacity is needed. These flexible vane pumps are often used for viscous fluids, slurries and liquids containing solids and gas in low pressure applications. Their sanitary construction means that they are also popular as a hygienic pump.

The FEP flexible vane pumps are widely used in transferring, filling & emptying applications, but when used in conjunction with a carrying handle and their integral on / off / reversing switch they are also a very reliable utility pump solution.

The GQT Series of Lobe Pumps have a gentle pumping action to ensure the state of the pumped medium is unchanged during pumping. The Sero SEMIS side channel pump is a self-priming multi-stage pump with a totally enclosed canned motor, designed for applications within the industrial refrigeration, engineering and chemical handling industries. The SEMIS liquid ring pump is suitable for handling volatile or dangerous process fluids containing high amounts of entrained gas (up to 50%), and also valuable liquids needing to be contained and controlled.

This Sero pump’s design is horizontal, radially split, multi-stage, end suction, top discharge and foot mounted. The hydraulics used are standard for a Sero side channel pump, the pump c/w an axial suction nozzle and vertical discharge nozzle, and in order to improve the NPSH-value a special suction impeller has been fitted.

The Sero SHP side channel pump is a self-priming liquid ring pump designed for high pressure and low flow applications. With its API-610 approval, this side channel pump is suitable for flammable gases and hydrocarbons, and is capable of generating heads above 3500’ with a maximum allowable working pressure of 100 bar.

The SHP pump has enhanced hydraulic coverage and follows API-610 specifications, whilst also offering API material codes S-6, C-6 and A-8. Liquid end barrel design is standard and has ANSI 900lb flanges to meet the 610 nozzle loading requirements. A number of sealing options are also available with a sealless mag drive design.

The SHP self priming liquid ring pump is an alternate option to high speed centrifugal process pumps and small reciprocating pumps, and benefits from: no pulsation issues, reduced maintenance costs and no emissions/pollution.

The FLUX F458 commutator motor features a robust and compact design with aluminium double shell housing, special corrosion resistant paint and low noise levels. The commutator F 458 motor is particularly suited for use in corrosive, vapour laden atmospheres where a Flux pump is being used. The delivery rate can be easily controlled by the infinitely variable speed control included in the switch knob. An extended service life is ensured by an improved ventilation system that provides optimal cooling. Models can contain the option of a no-volt release that prevents any unintentional re-starting of the motor after a voltage discontinuity.

The FLUX commutator motor F 458-1 is almost identical to the F 458 but features a considerably higher capacity of 700 watt. This model is ideally suited for use in applications that require a higher delivery rate, when transferring products with a medium viscosity or handling liquids with a higher density.

These CAT pumps are industrial, high pressure plunger pumps, designed for operation in extremely high pressure applications up to 690bar. The Cat plunger pump range is therefore often a reliable solution when other pump types fail.

Plunger pumps benefit from a smooth and low pulsating flow thanks to the synchronised movement of the integrated plungers. They are also more efficient than similar types of pump, offering in some cases greater than a 50% improvement on energy consumption.

By taking in a fixed volume of liquid, the high pressure plunger pump ensures that a constant volumetric flow is always delivered. This is attributed to the inlet stroke on the piston moving the set amount of liquid around and out of the pump.

Reducing energy consumption and how this can contribute to profitability is an important issue for the offshore and marine industry to consider. Castle Pumps have a range of solutions that can have a considerable impact on vessel owners’ bottom line.

The sea water cooling pump systems in a vessel’s engine room are often designed to cope with worst-case scenarios; they continuously operate as though the sea water temperature is at around 40 degrees Celsius. However, in most cases it is unlikely that the vessel is operating in such conditions, and therefore the pumping system is working inefficiently and energy consumption is much above actual requirements.

To ensure that on board energy costs are not unnecessarily inflated, Azcue Pumps have the ability to control pump speed and energy consumption via AC frequency inverters. A frequency drive can provide savings of up to 80%, substantially reducing the on-board energy costs for vessel owners, with a typical payback period of one year. These frequency inverters reduce fuel consumption, limit mechanical stress, lower CO2 emissions and enable the pumps to have a longer lifetime. 

Furthermore, the use of a frequency inverter also reduces the wear on spare parts meaning lower maintenance costs and a reduction in pump spare purchases. It also reduces the risk of cavitation as the NPSH needed is reduced with the pump operating at its best efficiency point.

Azcue Pumps offer bulkhead penetrations of different sizes for hydraulic, electric and engine driven pumps. The pump is mounted in a hazardous area or within a liquid which can be seawater, or a flammable liquid such as methanol, whilst the motor or other drive is situated in a safe area connecting the pump head via a drive shaft through the bulkhead. The bulkhead is sealed with an impenetrable seal preventing any fluid or gas escape. This pump may be used where there is limited space available, or where a motor would preferably be located outside of a hazardous area.

The Azcue BS-S Horizontal Piston Pump is a high pressure pumping solution complete with electric motor and v-belt pulley with guard, meeting safety regulations. The BT-LV is a large, heavy duty model characterised by its significantly higher flow capabilities than the other screw pumps in the Azcue range, other than its horizontal equivalent the BT-LH.

As a positive displacement pump, screw pumps are able to handle lubricating fluids under fluctuating flow rates, pressures and viscosities without losing efficiency. The nature of the screw pump design means it can be used where suction capabilities are difficult such as pumping over long distances or where the pump is located above the fluid. This, combined with its high flow makes the BT-LV magnetic drive pump suitable for the transfer of large quantities of fuels and lube oils such as bulk storage tank transfer and cargo unloading.  

Being long coupled, these self priming screw pumps are easier to maintain as you can get to the pump head without removing the motor first, and are also more durable for continuous use as it has additional bearings in the pump head to share the strain of operation. The Azcue VB and VA Vertical Inline Pumps are large, robust and higher performance pumps with higher pressure and flow capabilities than the other Azcue vertical centrifugal pumps. The VA is the same as the VB but with bottom suction rather than line, giving you the option depending upon the installation at hand. Both models are ideal solutions for applications involving the high volume transfer of relatively clean liquids such as water and thin fuels, where space saving may be important.

The VB & VA vertical inline centrifugal pumps are long coupled, making it easier to maintain as you can get to the pump head without removing the motor first, and more durable for continuous use as it has additional bearings in the pump head to share the strain of operation. A further benefit of this centrifugal water pump are the separate shafts in the pump head and motor, meaning that if there is a problem with one, the whole thing doesn’t need to be replaced. This model has wear rings, which means there is small clearance between the impeller and pump casing preventing wear to these parts. Wearing rings are designed to be replaced periodically, preventing the more expensive replacement of the impeller or casing. 

These Azcue single stage centrifugal pumps are available to be supplied with an external priming pump either VP (vacuum priming pump) or EP (electric priming pump). With a vacuum priming pump it can dry run for a short period of time, making this a better option than an electric priming pump for longer suction distances.

The Azcue VB and VA VP/EP Self Priming Vertical Inline Pumps are the VB and VA long coupled centrifugal pumps supplied with a vacuum or electric priming pump, designed for where suction conditions may be difficult. For longer distances, the vacuum priming pump should be selected thanks to its ability to dry run for short periods of time.

The Azcue VB & VA are large, robust and higher performance pumps with higher pressure and flow capabilities than the other Azcue vertical centrifugal pumps. The VA is the same as the VB but with bottom suction rather than line, giving you the option depending upon the installation at hand. Both models are ideal solutions for applications involving the high volume transfer of relatively clean liquids such as water and thin fuels, where space saving may be important.

The VB & VA vertical inline centrifugal pumps are long coupled, making it easier to maintain as you can get to the pump head without removing the motor first, and more durable for continuous use as it has additional bearings in the pump head to share the strain of operation. A further benefit of this centrifugal water pump are the separate shafts in the pump head and motor, meaning that if there is a problem with one, the whole thing doesn’t need to be replaced. This model has wear rings, which means there is small clearance between the impeller and pump casing preventing wear to these parts. Wearing rings are designed to be replaced periodically, preventing the more costly replacement of the impeller or casing.

The Azcue BT-IL-MG Spacer Coupled Triple Screw Pump is the BT-IL supplied with a magnetic coupling, which eliminates the issue of a mechanical seal leaking and therefore enhances service life for more critical applications. The Azcue BT-IL is larger, higher flow screw pump, for applications where larger volumes of fuel oils and lubricants need to be transferred.

As a positive displacement pump, screw pumps are able to handle lubricating fluids under fluctuating flow rates, pressures and viscosities without losing efficiency making the Azcue BT-IL magnetic drive pump suitable for a range of performance requirements. The nature of the screw pump design means it can be used where suction capabilities are difficult such as pumping over long distances or where the pump is located above the fluid

These self priming screw pumps have a spacer coupling for maintenance of the pump without having to remove the motor first and an additional ball bearing between the pump and motor to share the strain of operation, making it ideal for more heavy duty, continuous use.
